We are currently seeking a Enterprise Data Solution Architect to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

As an Enterprise Data Solution Architect, you will drive the design, delivery, and modernization of cloud-native data platforms that transform raw data into governed, reusable products. Blending deep technical expertise with product-centric and consulting acumen, you will accelerate business value, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), and future-proof analytics capabilities for clients across diverse industries.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver end-to-end data solutions across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), encompassing data ingestion, storage, modeling, and consumption.
  • Collaborate with clients, business leaders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define data-product strategies, and ensure alignment with industry best practices and client goals.
  • Define data domain boundaries, semantic models, and enable self-service analytics through robust architecture and reference designs.
  • Establish and lead scalable ETL/ELT patterns using leading tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, Glue, or BigQuery.
  • Lead modernization roadmaps, including migrating legacy warehouses, integrating real-time data pipelines, and automating CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for analytics platforms.
  • Conduct assessments of existing data infrastructure and develop strategic goals, standards, and long-term architecture vision for enterprise systems.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies, addressing capacity planning, security, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving.
  • Institute and enforce data governance, security, compliance, FinOps guardrails, and metadata management processes to ensure data quality and regulatory adherence.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to data policies and stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve solution design and delivery.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, providing technical recommendations and fostering knowledge transfer.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, including architectural diagrams and technical specifications.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • 10+ years designing enterprise data platforms, with at least 2 major cloud migrations delivered.
  • 7+ years in modern data stack environments (lakehouse, medallion/Data Mesh, CDC, event streaming).
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, and orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Data Factory, Cloud Composer).
  • 3+ years developing and implementing data governance, security, and FinOps guardrails.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-cloud environments and familiarity with a range of data management tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience productizing GenAI/RAG or MLOps pipelines.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, healthcare, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding and certification in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and influencing both engineers and executive stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of data compliance, security, and best practices in enterprise data management.
  • Experience with “Big 4” management consulting or exposure to multiple industries.

Additional Qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with C-suite leaders and mentoring engineering teams alike.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for policy or process improvements, with a passion for staying informed about new technologies and trends.
