Role Overview
    • Bluelight is seeking a creative and versatile Digital Graphic Designer to develop compelling visual content that enhances our brand, engages our target audience, and supports our marketing and product initiatives. You will be responsible for the full design lifecycle, from conceptualization to execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact visuals across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

    • Visual Content Creation: Design and produce a wide range of digital assets, including compelling product page visuals (high-quality images, optimized titles, persuasive content), infographics, animations, and marketing materials.
    • Video Production & Editing: Create and edit engaging video content for social media campaigns, and brand storytelling.
    • Web & Product Visuals: Design and enhance website and user interface elements, ensuring they are on-brand, reflect current trends, and are optimized for various platforms and fast load times, with a strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
    • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and content teams to develop visual concepts, ensure cohesive campaigns, and align designs with strategic goals and the overall customer journey. Effectively present ideas and designs, incorporating feedback to refine creative outputs.
    • Brand Stewardship: Help evolve the Bluelight brand, making meaningful choices about visual identity and rolling out updates coherently across all materials.
    • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, interpreting requirements, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Innovation & Strategy: Understand target audience needs to inform creative solutions. Participate in brainstorming sessions, bringing innovative, forward-thinking ideas to new projects and campaigns.
    • Asset Management: Contribute to building and maintaining a library of reusable visual assets for the company.

Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
    • 2-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital design, branding, or a related marketing role.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work, successful marketing campaigns, and web/digital design projects.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop for image creation/enhancement) and video editing software.
    • Experience with no/low-code visual web design tools (e.g., Webflow, Framer, Wix, Wordpress) and a strong understanding of responsive web design and UX/UI principles.
    • Experience with web design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and digital content management
    • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
    • Creative problem-solver with a keen eye for aesthetics, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team.
    • Understanding of website optimization and designing for accessibility compliance.
    • Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
