We are seeking an experienced Development Manager - Entitlements & Land Development to lead entitlement and land development efforts across multiple projects. This role is integral to our national, full-service general contracting team, guiding clients through entitlements, due diligence, and land development to facilitate project approvals and advance construction.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
+ Lead entitlement processes, including zoning, land use, permitting, and environmental approvals to secure project approvals from local, state and federal agencies.
+ Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analysis to evaluate potential land acquisitions and development opportunities.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact with government agencies, community groups, legal counsel and design consultants to facilitate entitlement approvals.
+ Oversee civil engineering, infrastructure planning, utility coordination, and site development to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project goals.
+ Develop and manage entitlement and land development budgets and schedules, coordinating with internal construction team to align with overall project timelines.
+ Work closely with construction, design, and business development teams to align development strategies with overall project execution.
+ Stay up to date with changes in zoning, environmental regulations, and land-use laws to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
+ Represent the company in public hearings, community meetings, and stakeholder discussions to advocate for project approvals.
**NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 5-10 years in entitlements, land development, or real estate development, preferably in a general contracting or design-build environment
+ Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning codes, permitting processes, and site development best practices
+ BS in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
